Last year the Union ministry of transportation and highways made a new amendment which made new regulation for commuters. Due to the new amendment, the government of India has imposed certain new rules which have come into action since 1st October 2020 .
The main purpose of these new rules is to give maximum convenience to bike drivers.
Following are the new rules added by ministry of transport and highways which you should keep in mind.
According to the new regulation the commuter can digitally carry his/her bike-related official documents like bike insurance, bike registration certificate and vehicle driving license. .
Commuters can download the m-Parivahan application on their mobiles and can register with their phone numbers where they can store their documents online. There are also alternate online storage options like Digi lockers where you can now store your vehicle documents.
With this new rules, the driving license can be stored digitally and also the receipts of the violation will be stored online. According to these new rules, the online storage of pending receipts and other concerns regarding the driver can be tracked online.
Invoice and other receipts can be issued and stored digitally. Post the payments of raised receipts the documents are all stored digitally which can be accessed by the commuter online.
With the new amendment bill effective from the 1st of October 2020, commuters can use their mobile phones for navigation purposes while driving. It is also necessary to keep in mind that using your mobile phones while driving can be dangerous. So it is advised to use your mobile phones more effectively and only for navigation purpose.
